G.W.Cooper & Co have been licensed trade surveyors, brokers
and valuers for well over 100 years. Our company's founder, Mr George Cooper
lived from 1859 until 1917.
One of the Cooper family is a consultant in the firm, who for many years as
senior partner was involved in all aspects of the trade.
Our current day to day activities encompass the valuation and sale of
freehold, leasehold and tenanted premises, ranging from public houses, to restaurants,
wine bars and hotels.
The senior partner Mark Jenkins has been established
in the trade for over thirty five years. He is a Fellow of the Association
of Valuers of Licensed Property, our trade association.
We also have an active letting
department which specialises in new issue leases and traditional tenancies
offered by major brewers, regional brewers, pub companies, and individual
owners. Our Tenancy Co-ordinator, who can help with your registration and
ensure you receive future details, is Hayley Cahalarn. To further assist our clients, we also
operate our own licensing department serving all the necessary paperwork for
applications ranging from new Premises and Personal Licences, Variation
applications, Transfers of Designated Premises Supervisor and Interim
